Yes! Fall and spring are such great times for fishing, too; they are often the most productive (for me, at least 🙂).

Hooking a shark from the surf is absolutely one of the most exhilarating things you can do with your hands wrapped around a rod!

“Fishing muscles.” Love it. Take care of that fishing scar. You’ll need that finger.

Thanks. Yeah, what a silly mistake. I used some tape, but I'm guessing there's a product out there marketed to people who fish, like a "fisherman's tape" to help with line and fish tooth abrasion. Tough strips and duct tape for now.

Shoot if you needed a rod I’m pretty sure I have a 10 footer and with a 6500 sitting in my parents shed on the north side of the cape.

Wow, Cameron that’s generous! Thanks. That’s sounds like it would have worked well. I’ve started shopping for a proper shark rod.

I like your lyrics - simple. Nice black and white photo too.

When I think of fishing muscles, I think of my arms, hands, shoulders - not enough there for a shark though. But you make a good point - "Go get the gear and get fishing. Figure it out. Ask questions." That basically sums it up for me this year for fishing. I am looking forward to the cooler temperatures this fall so I can "get after these experiences."

I'm definitely "hooked." At one point, we caught a few in a row; it might have been the best day fishing I've had. Also, I've never wanted a break in the fishing action before to rest, so this was a first.
